The Tropical Palm first opened its doors in 1947 in a different building in Crestview and was owned by the Scroggins family. But 41 years ago it became the baby of Miss Orene Kervin and she; along with the staff made it what it is today, a Crestview institution. After Miss Orene went home to be with Jesus many worried the restaurant might close but the staff pulled together and helped right the ship. In April of 2019 new owners are taking over with the goal of providing the same amazing service that our loyal, terrific customers come in for day after day.
Coming from a big city I can tell you this is a great little restaurant! Family owned and on the old main street of Crestview. It certainly has that ole throwback feel of yesteryear with fresh coffee and a healthy size breakfast.... we'll be back

Got breakfast here this morning, the lady was nice enough to fax me a menu and was ready for pick up in ten minutes. Definitely fresh and delicious sandwich. Great prices.

One of the longest running short order Restaurant/Cafe's in Crestview. They open early for breakfast then they're open through lunch, then they close by about 2:00pm. It would be nice if they were open for later lunch or even dinner. The food is most always good. Just good country cooking! Don't forget the sweet tea.
